Shhh, we don’t want to jinx it. We’re not telling, because we don’t want Player X to suddenly get traded away for three junior-high kids and the pre-natal rights to their offspring. We don’t want to suffer with Player X while he learns the game, only to see him win a championship-hell, just get to the playoffs even-as the best player on another team. If you ask us, the only way to save Player X is to never show any emotion when you’re in your seat at a Bulls game. Don’t cheer, don’t criticize, don’t have fun. Because if Reinsdorf and Krauss see anyone appreciating a certain player’s skill, Player X is as good as gone.
