Can a restaurant possibly live up to two years of hype that includes a cult of fried-chicken fanatics? Yes, thanks to chefs Christine Cikowski and Joshua Kulp, who brought Honey Butter Fried Chicken out of the underground dining scene and into an Avondale restaurant. Of course, the star is the locally sourced fried chicken with crispy skin dusted with paprika and slathered in honey butter. But seasonal sides, such as cream corn with Thai green curry, prove the duo is not a one trick pony.
